In April we joined forces with Norton’s American Legion Riders and Moms for Kids to help with the easter egg hunt on the Courthouse lawn in Norton.
May saw us all together at the Legion for the hog roast and raffle. We also went to Grainfield to help the Legion Riders display flags as the Run For The Wall went through Kansas.
June 28,2023 was NORTON COUNTY COMMUNITY FOUNDATION’s match day. We were able to help 4 match day participants with donations.
We added John, Tracy, Brian, Jim and Tyler as new members. Salty Dawgz participated in Valley Hope of Norton’s 5th Annual Poker Run.
July the Dawgz helped the Norton County Amusement Association with setting up and taking down the carnival rides and safety fencing. Legos for Leukemia and the Salty Dawgz held a ride to Denver to purchase toys and then delivered them to the Children’s Hospital Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus.
In August we were in Jennings participating in the 6th Annual Jennings American Legion Family Dice Run to raise money to pay for gas on the RFTW 2024 fuel stop in Oakley. Several Dawgz were in Russel Springs for the Tri-State Coalition of Concerned Motorcyclists poker run. We also participate in the Adopt-A-Highway Program, we pick up trash along a section of K-383.
September, we rode to Fort Dodge Soldiers Home with the Norton KS Legion Riders benefit fun run.
December, we helped the Norton Lions Club with their annual Christmas Basket Project. It was truly amazing to see the generosity of others and the support for our community.
